Nexus Reviews provides interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary construction document reviews focused on identifying coordination issues before they impact construction.

Our trained engineer review teams examine plans and specifications across all major building systems to help improve constructability, reduce conflicts, and support smoother project execution.

Infographic titled "Why It Matters" with five sections. The first shows an icon of three engineers and states that experienced engineers review major building systems. The second features a clipboard with checkmarks and a magnifying glass, emphasizing early issue identification. The third has a target icon, focusing on objective third-party reviews for quality and clarity. The fourth shows an upward-trending bar graph, highlighting risk and cost reduction during construction. The fifth depicts two people communicating, with text about better coordination and outcomes for smoother projects.

At Nexus Reviews, we understand that time is money. Clear, coordinated construction documents help projects move more efficiently from design to construction, reducing surprises in the field and improving communication between all stakeholders involved in the project.

Formerly operating as RediCheck North, our team brings over 25 years of experience reviewing complex construction documents for coordination gaps, scope ambiguity, and system clashes that can lead to delays, rework, and costly change orders during construction.

We work as an independent third-party partner, providing an objective review process that helps project teams identify potential issues early, when they are far less costly to resolve.

The chart emphasizes thorough review, accurate feedback, and better buildings.

The Product

Architectural floor plan of a building's first floor showing rooms labeled Conference, Open Office, Break Room, Lobby, Office, Restroom, Mechanical, Electrical, and corridors. Red handwritten notes indicate comments about ceiling space, door specifications, ductwork, plumbing, electrical points, and door dimensions. Blue symbols denote doors and plumbing fixtures, with legend explaining symbols. Scale is 1/8 inch equals 1 foot.

After analyzing the findings of our projects throughout the past year, one thing has become very clear.

The majority of issues we identify are not major design flaws. They're dozens of smaller coordination issues between disciplines that can easily be overlooked during a busy design schedule.

This graphic highlights the types of issues we see most often and why an independent interdisciplinary review can provide real value before construction begins.

Our goal has never been to criticize a design team. It's to provide an outside perspective that helps owners, architects, engineers, and contractors reduce risk and avoid costly surprises in the field.
