At Nexus Reviews, we understand that time is money. Clear, coordinated construction documents help projects move more efficiently from design to construction, reducing surprises in the field and improving communication between all stakeholders involved in the project.
Formerly operating as RediCheck North, our team brings over 25 years of experience reviewing complex construction documents for coordination gaps, scope ambiguity, and system clashes that can lead to delays, rework, and costly change orders during construction.
We work as an independent third-party partner, providing an objective review process that helps project teams identify potential issues early, when they are far less costly to resolve.
Our Process

The most effective time to perform a Nexus Reviews coordination review is typically between the 75% and 100% Construction Document (CD) phases. At this stage of the design process, the drawings and specifications are generally developed enough to allow for a comprehensive interdisciplinary review, while still providing the design team adequate time to address identified issues before construction begins.

Most projects can be completed and returned within approximately 2–3 weeks from the review start date. We understand that project schedules and submission timelines can vary, and we will work closely with your team to support schedule constraints whenever possible.

From a scheduling standpoint, we encourage clients to contact us as early as possible once they have an idea of when a project may be ready for review. Early coordination helps us plan resources and reserve time for your project.
We understand that construction schedules frequently change, and there is never a fee if a project slips within our schedule due to changes in your timeline. Some clients provide projected review windows more than a year in advance, although in most cases, providing notice one to two months ahead of the anticipated review is sufficient.
Because we do not charge for schedule shifts, openings in our review schedule do occur. If you have a project that is ready for review immediately or on short notice, we encourage you to reach out, as we are often able to accommodate accelerated scheduling requests.

At the completion of the review, you will receive a secure link containing:
PDF files of the drawings and specifications with redline comments directly on the documents
A complete comment log in a format that can be exported into a checklist or tracking system
A summary report highlighting the major issues identified during the review
A virtual page-turn debrief with the lead engineer assigned to the project review
The ability to request clarification or discuss any review comments after the debrief at no additional cost
Our goal is not only to identify issues, but to ensure our clients fully understand the comments, the potential impacts, and the reasoning behind the recommendations provided in the review.

All Nexus Reviews engineers are located in the United States, and all access to project documents and electronic files remains within the USA as well. Our clients can be confident that their projects are reviewed by experienced U.S.-based engineering professionals operating within a secure and controlled environment.

We do not rely on artificial intelligence, automated algorithms, or simple checklist-based reviews in our process. While those tools can certainly have value, they provide a very different product than what we deliver.
At Nexus Reviews, every review is performed by teams of trained engineers who apply real-world experience, technical knowledge, and professional judgment to the construction documents. Our reviews go beyond automated clash detection or predefined checklists. We look at the plans the way the field will experience them.
Our goal is to identify issues that could lead to RFIs, change orders, coordination conflicts, rework, or construction delays if they are not addressed before construction begins.
After analyzing the findings of our projects throughout the past year, one thing has become very clear.
The majority of issues we identify are not major design flaws. They're dozens of smaller coordination issues between disciplines that can easily be overlooked during a busy design schedule.
